The opening was spectacular and I felt a rush of emotions come over me as James and Richard moved along side Jeremy.
From there the show was good, but never as great as the opening. I expected some explanation and realize that they need to explain things so we know what to expect, so I'm not disappointed.
The schtick where they teach Americans how to speak English was great. The driving good as always. The celebrity segment was a bit labored, but still funny.
The one drawback was "The American" racing driver. I would've rather them keep the guy who tested the hypercars and let the boys take over the subtitles to whatever they wanted.
One thing they could add, instead of a star segment why not do a yocal in a supercar? I'll gladly submit to be the first one to run a Porsche, Pagani, McLauren, etc.

Yes, they might have lost the plot a bit during the first couple of seasons of The Grand Tour, but if this episode is anything to go by, they have recaptured the old mojo and are well and truly back on form.
If the rest of the season is as good as this episode, we are in for some great times. I loved the first two seasons of the Grand Tour, but this season is already in another league, the first episode is the hardest I've laughed with the original trio since they left Top Gear.
Absolutely amazing!!! The camera work is fantastic, they eliminated the celebrity, it felt more authentic than the first two seasons, it was funny I was actually laughing out loud!
It is great to see the fellas back to their roots. They felt more comfortable in this episode than in any other. I can't wait for the remaining 12 weeks!
Off to a great start!! First show of season 3 was epic. Incredible cars and insane performance, for American roads. This season especially is shaping up to be classic!
However, we will no longer view another single espisode. They were usually funny and sometimes true. One who is actually looking out for the people of this country and who is wrongfully and viciously attacked by the MSM everyday!
Clarkson has the right to say anything he wants. I suggest he take a long hard look at the state of his own country. Millions of Americans watch The Grand Tour.
I expect that number to drop significantly. As they say - Clarkson may be bit of an ape, James may unnecessarily overcomplicate and Richard Hammond may not meet ones height requirement.
