The season starts out strong with a two parter filmed in Puerto Rico, showing Neal and Mozzie living the high life sort of and Peter going way out on a limb to find them and warn them of a ruthless FBI agent on their trail.

This was followed by a semi humorous but poignant return to New York episode where Peter faces the consequences of his actions, while naturally Neal and Moz are unscathed.

After those episodes, there is a very interesting one involving a political fixer who can creep out even Neal, let alone Jones and Diana. Peter is the one who stands his ground although there is ominous foreshadowing ahead for the agent.

Lots of humor in this episode, though, a White Collar staple when all is running well. In an hilarious segment, Peter and Sara are posing as an amorous couple, being coached by no less than Neal and Elizabeth.

It's all for the case but it is so funny. The rest of the episodes are okay, but not great. This season's theme is the search for Neal's father and we learn more background about the con man.

This might have been more exciting season two rather than four. As it is, the chemistry between Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay who is, after four seasons, finally getting pictured on the cover is more than good enough to make you forgive some rather ho hum plots.

All in all, a good but not really memorable White Collar season. Pure delight from one of my all-time favorite shows. White Collar features one of the most endearing character partnerships of all time, it's slick, pretty, and sexy, and the stories are fun.

The show is deep enough to get you truly emotionally involved with the characters, but isn't dark or depressing. A criminal who walks away from an island paradise escape in handcuffs, beaming because he's also walking away being hugged by his best friend and coming back to his beloved New York and Peter.

These two stand by each other through thick and thin, and it's one of the most charming things you'll ever watch. One person found this helpful.

The main characters in this show are brilliantly synergistic, easy to care about, and the more you watch it, the more endearing they become.

By the time I finished two seasons, I was totally addicted to this series, enamored with the wonderful characters and wanted more.

After I finished Season 3, the only way I could get more was to purchase season 4. Each night I hate to have to turn it off and wait another day, but on the other hand, I have something to look forward to enjoying every night.

Highly recommended because it's NOT full of graphic violence, filthy innuendoes, nasty language, etc. Instead, it's well-written adventure drama with a sprinkling of romance that keeps you 'hooked'.

I wish there were more shows of this caliber on TV. I love watching Tim Dekay and Matt Bomer's characters relationship grow and become more and more complex with every season and this season was special because we saw Neal Bomer really come to realize what his relationship with Peter means to him, has done for him, and what Peter has brought out of him.

This season we got to see a vulnerability we really haven't seen in Neal, and we got to see him lean on a friend for answers and help, Peter. And as always we continue to see Peter lean and depend on his other half, Elizabeth.

All in all, I give the season and the series 5 stars. I give it 5 stars for the characters and for their relationships with each other. Because those are what are relatable and poignant.

While the rest is entertainment. I am seriously in love with this series! I never watched it when it actually aired silly me but have been joyfully bingewatching it on Netflix.

I loved it so much that I've since purchased all the seasons on DVD so I could watch all the special features. The acting is superb, the writing is witty and fresh and every episode is just a great time!

Definitely a new top favorite series of mine! If there is anyone out in tv land who can find fault with this series, I want to know about it!

Au Revoir. In order to help Neal carry out a risky heist, Peter must involve himself in a dangerous con against the Pink Panthers, putting El at unease with their new baby on the way.
