I never watched this installment of the series, and do recall enjoying the first two.
I had a chance to watch the first two recently and picked this one up at the same time and just finished watching it.
Whereas the first two films were more about romance the third film is definitely a comedy. I liked it if only because it's more "Crocodile Dundee".
It was both funny and entertaining. Trying not to give the plot away, but if you liked the first two movies you'll like this one to get more of the same, something different, some more laughs and it ties up a few loose ends.
I wish there was a 4th installment. I was consistently surprised at how good this movie is all the way through.
I didn't see the movie until now because the original trailers made it seem hokey, but it's actually pretty tonally balanced and very funny.
There's plenty of fish out of water jokes like in the first movie, but they don't go too far with any of them and there's also plenty of action and criminals to catch like in the second movie.
It's nice to see almost all the original actors back again as his friends too. Definitely recommending this to any Dundee fan!
Ugh, they should have never made this 3rd installment to this series. Once again, they take a hit movie franchise, and go for another cheap money grab, and this one flops.
They try the big city approach again, and it doesn't sparkle at all. This movie isn't even funny. It's like they try to redo the first movie, but it fails big time.
I couldn't even watch this for a half hour, before shutting it off. It's a big disappointment, as the first 2 movies were great, and i was excited to see a 3rd installment was made that i never heard of.
Now i know why i never heard of this one, it sucks!!! Once again, this movie ruined the whole franchise. The first two movies were good and then they came out with this cheap sequel.
It seemed they could not come up with a good story line for this movie. Not all movies need sequels. They should have stopped after the second Crocodile Dundee.
I always enjoy Paul Hogan. His Crocodile Dundee movies are fun and rather addictive. This one was fun but I did miss all the action that the first two movies had.
There was plenty of action in it, but not up to the level of the first two. More laid back and not as intense. Indeed, it was much better than I anticipated.
Enough, so that I felt comfortable recommending it to my folks, as I think they will enjoy the family-movie aspect, quite a lot.
