Still a very solid movie either way. The Cabin in the Woods, is an amazing experience for any horror movie fan, it's a fresh take on a tired genre and a completely different expirence from anything you've ever seen.
We, as viewers, see the movie from two perspectives, the characters in the story, and the makers of that story, and that for me is the best thing in this movie, how it plays with our expectations on usual tropes from this types of movies, how it makes a good mystery even with a generic story inside another story.
